The New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) was looking for ways to serve its student body with a compelling financial product to help them navigate the financial system and build credit history. At the same time, the University wanted to engage its alumni community and build affinity toward its alma mater in new ways. It conceived the credit card as a product that served both goals.
The New School wanted to help current students navigate the financial system and build credit history while at the same time engage its diverse alumni community of nearly 80,000 graduates. A Deserve credit card program was able to meet both requirements and is helping current students and alumni stay connected with The New School while building a solid financial base for their future.
